More than a hundred years ago, in order to prevent the theft of his wines, Don Melchor of Concha y Toro spread a rumor that the devil himself lived in his cellar.
Like wildfire, the rumor spread and fear fell on everyone who heard it. No one has ever confirmed the story of the sinister guardian of his cellar, but
the legend remains.

Deep and rich ruby red color. Saturated aroma of cherry, blackcurrant and plum, enriched by notes of
toasted oak. Medium body with silky tannins and a long aftertaste of ripe, forest fruits, with impressive balance.

Food pairing: Red meats, spicy dishes and mature cheeses such as Gruyère or blue cheese.
