Produced by Dragomir Winery - a boutique winery, the winery is known for its author's style and experimental approach, focusing on limited editions with a clearly expressed style and character.
Varietal composition: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Rubin
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Thracian Lowlands, in areas with mineral-rich clay-limestone soils. The climate is transitional continental with long sunny summers and cool nights, which contributes to slow ripening and concentration of aromas.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and vinified using the short maceration method. Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels, where the wine also remains for a short aging on the lees, with periodic batoning for density and complexity.
