Donna Olimpia 1898 – a family winery located in the heart of Bolgheri, Tuscany. The winery was founded in 1898 in honor of the 25th wedding anniversary of Olimpia Alliata and Gerardo della Gerardeca.

Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Bolgheri area of Tuscany, on sandy-clay soils. The climate is Mediterranean, with warm summers and mild winters, which is ideal for growing red varieties.
Vinification:
The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by a short aging on fine lees to preserve the freshness and aromas of the wine.

Colour: Light pink, with straw-orange reflections.

Finish: Clean and long-lasting, with a slightly dry finish.
