Chateau Karnobat is part of the wine project of Vinprom Karnobat and is located in the region of the same name, known for its sunny vineyards and rich viticultural tradition. The winery is distinguished by modern equipment and strict control over each stage of production, combining a contemporary approach with respect for the local terroir.
Varietal composition: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Terroir: The vineyards are located on sunny hills in the Karnobat region, on clay-limestone soils. The region is characterized by a warm, temperate continental climate and good ventilated conditions, which contribute to the uniform and high-quality ripening of the grapes.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness and transported in cooled containers. After a short maceration at low temperature, delicate pressing is performed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at temperatures around 14–16°C, without contact with oak.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Fruity expression with nuances of raspberry, cherry and pink grapefruit, complemented by light floral notes.
Taste: Fresh and harmonious, with balanced acidity, light fruitiness and a clean, dry finish.
Food pairing: Suitable for goat cheese salad, grilled chicken or pizza with prosciutto and arugula.
Serving temperature: 8°–10°C
Aging potential: Up to 2 years after harvest
