Rich nutty tones (especially hazelnuts) and subtle spices - cinnamon, cloves.
There are also honeyed nuances, a slight woody "sharpness" and a discreet saltiness.
Taste:
Dry, light body and soft mouthfeel
Main notes: roasted nuts, dried fruits and spices, with mineral saltiness and a long, dry finish.
Food pairing and serving:
Recommended at a temperature of 13–14°C
Vegetables such as artichokes, asparagus
Tapas, mature cheeses, nuts, olives
Soups and risottos with mushrooms, spicy (especially Indian) dishes.
