Azienda Agricola Monte del Frà – a family winery with a long tradition, located in the heart of the Veneto region. Tenuta Lena di Mezzo is one of their historic estates in Valpolicella Classico, known for its rich limestone terroirs and delicate, elegant red wines.
Varietal composition: Traditional blend for Valpolicella – mainly Corvina and Corvinone, with additions from Rondinella .
Terroir: The vineyards are located on the hills of Valpolicella Classico, on limestone-stony and clay soils. The region is characterized by a mild climate, with good ventilation and optimal exposure, which contributes to balanced ripeness and preservation of freshness.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and undergo a meticulous selection. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the aromas of red fruit. A short maceration extracts delicate tannins and a bright color. Aging is mainly in stainless steel vessels to emphasize the freshness and typical regional style.
