Description

Wine was of great importance to the ancient Romans, so much so that they had several words for "vine" in Latin. "Vinia" is one of them. In 46 AD, the Romans of the VIII Augustus Legion founded the ancient city of Nove, where the city of Svishtov is today.

Wine was an important part of life in Nove. 20 centuries later, Svishtov Winery considers itself the continuer of the ancient tradition and creates with great passion wines that carry the specifics of this terroir (northern climate and vineyards next to the Danube River).

Organoleptic characteristics

Color: intense ruby-red

Aroma: the fruity explosion of well-ripened grapes is combined with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and wild strawberry.

Taste: balanced taste, thanks to the vinification of grapes with optimal ripeness

Serving temperature: 18-20

A classic Bulgarian Merlot, suitable for the good atmosphere of every table.

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.
