Produced by Medi Valley Winery – a modern Bulgarian winery located in Southwestern Bulgaria, in the Struma River Valley – one of the most emblematic wine regions in the country. The winery is known for its focus on wines from single vineyards (Single Vineyard), which clearly express the terroir and the specific character of each plot. The Incanto line presents elegant, concentrated wines with a pronounced varietal identity and precise vinification.
Varietal composition:
100% Merlot
Terroir:
The grapes come from a single vineyard in the Struma Valley – a region with a pronounced Mediterranean climate. Warm days, cool nights and stony-alluvial soils contribute to full phenolic ripening, fruit concentration and velvety tannin structure.
Vinification:
The grapes are hand-picked and subjected to strict selection. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with prolonged maceration for optimal extraction of color and aromatic compounds. The wine is aged in oak barrels for additional complexity, softening of tannins and integration of spicy and vanilla nuances.
