Description

Domaine Boyar is one of the most established private wineries in Bulgaria, founded in the 1990s with a strong international focus and its own viticulture in the Sliven region. The varietal wines under the RUE Romance brand are distinguished by a modern style, combining local terroir and global inspiration.

Variety: Merlot

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Sliven region, on well-drained soils with an admixture of limestone and sand. The temperate continental climate with large temperature amplitudes between day and night favors the slow ripening of the grapes and the accumulation of coloring and aromatic substances.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and undergo classic vinification with fermentation in stainless steel vessels. Short aging in contact with oak barrels gives a fine spicy structure and additional softness to the wine.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum dominate, complemented by light accents of caramel, coffee and spices.
Taste: Smooth and soft, with a velvety texture, well-integrated tannins and a juicy fruity finish.
Food pairings: Suitable for pasta bolognese, grill, stuffed peppers, lamb, veal.
Serving temperature: 16°–18°C
Aging potential: Up to 4 years

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.
