Magura Winery – one of the most recognizable Bulgarian wineries, located in Northwestern Bulgaria, in the Belogradchik region. The winery is known for its experimental series and wines from selected vineyards with a clearly expressed terroir.
Varietal composition:
Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
Terroir:
The grapes come from a single vineyard in Northwestern Bulgaria – a region with a continental climate, significant temperature amplitudes and limestone soils, which contribute to the concentration, freshness and complexity of the wine.
Vinification:
Each variety is vinified separately, at a controlled temperature and precise maceration, in order to preserve its individual character. Blending is carried out after fermentation to achieve a balance between the piquancy of Syrah, the fruity depth of Malbec and the elegant structure of Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged to achieve greater complexity and harmony.
