Vrachanska Temenuga Winery – a boutique family winery located near Vratsa, in the Deri Vol area, about 7km from the city. Its goal is to revive and popularize the traditional variety “Vrachanska Temenuga” (Vrachanski Misket), combining heritage with innovative practices and attention to terroir and quality.
Varietal composition
Presumably Gamza with traces of Vrachanski Misket, similar to the 2023, when it was partially fermented with a small amount of Vrachanski Misket grapes.
Terroir
Located in the PGI Danube Plain – Vratsa, Northwestern Bulgaria. The soils are carbonate, gray forest, altitude about 340m. Climate – moderately continental, with good potential for creating fresh and elegant wines

Vinification
In the 2023 model winemaking includes:
The grapes are fermented mainly on Gamza, with minimal participation of Vratsa Muscat;
Partial fermentation with Muscat grains to add color and aromatic nuances;
We assume that 2024 will follow a similar philosophy: careful fermentation management, limited volume, emphasis on freshness and terroir.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma:
A characteristic nose with cherry fruit tones and a delicate violet color is expected, thanks to the moment of Gamza + Vratsa Muscat
Taste:
Fresh and harmonious taste, with a soft body and a finish carrying nuances of red fruits and flowers. The fruit profile is combined with fine acidity and a sense of elegance.
Food pairings:
Perfect for lighter red dishes, salads with meat, poultry, cheeses, as well as fruit desserts or shcher wines suitable for friendly events.
