Provenance: After the highly successful launch of Memoro Rosso Italia, Picchini took on another challenge: to create a white wine with which, without a doubt, you will not just taste Italy, but feel Italy! And they did, at the cost of much research, experimentation, tasting and blending. We chose a diamond compass for the label to show you Italy in the company of a bottle of wine made from four different grape varieties, each typical of its region: Sicily, Trentino, Maremma Toscana and Marche. Memoro Bianco is a true blended wine, a blend of grapes from different origins: Viognier from Sicily, Chardonnay from Trentino, Vermentino from Maremma Tuscany and a touch of ancient Italy with Pecorino from Marche. The different origin of the grapes is a prerequisite for the balanced fruity taste and acidity of Memoro Bianco. Viognier is grown in Sicily, it carries with it the warmth of the area and gives excellent structure and soft tannins, the result of malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The cool climate of Trentino is the reason why Chardonnay complements with aromas of peach and apple on the nose and exceptional freshness in the taste. The palette is completed by the delicate floral notes of Vermentino from Maremma and the sweet pear characteristic of Pecorino from Marche. Characteristics: Rich aroma of pears and honey with a hint of bread crust. Elegant and juicy wine in the mouth, with exceptional concentration and soft tannins. On the finish you can feel dried herbs and oak notes. Food pairing: To be served at 12°C with dishes in cream sauce, poultry and seafood.
