Variety: Zweigelt (100%)

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Kamptal region, with soils that are mainly limestone and clay, providing excellent drainage. The climate is temperate with an Alpine influence, with cool nights, which allows the Zweigelt to ripen slowly, preserving its freshness and aromas.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is not aged in oak barrels to preserve its freshness and fruity aromas.

Organoleptic characteristics
Color: Delicate pink with slight coral hues.
Aroma: Fresh and fruity, with notes of red berries, such as strawberries and raspberries, with slightly floral accents.
Taste: Light to medium body with well-balanced acidity, giving the wine a crisp and refreshing structure. The taste is fruity with a slightly spicy aftertaste.

Food pairing: Suitable for seafood, oysters, pasta with vegetable sauces, salads with fruit dressings and light cheeses.

Serving temperature: 8°–10°C
Aging potential: Up to 2 years, the wine will retain its freshness for the first 2 years after harvest.

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge. * Free delivery excludes all products from categories: Water, Beer, Bag-in-Box, Soft Drinks.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.

We would like to inform you that, as of 01.10.2025, the working hours of Meik-98 Ltd. will be changed as follows:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 16:30 PM (delivery to address or on-site service).
Saturday and Sunday: closed.

There will also be changes in how we receive your orders and carry out deliveries:

Monday to Friday: same-day delivery orders will be accepted until 10:00 AM.
For customer convenience, orders placed by 3:30 PM can be picked up on the same business day by 4:30 PM from the warehouse of “Meik-98” Ltd. (Sofia, 13 Filip Kutev Street).
