Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Pays d’Oc IGP appellation, Southern France – a region with a typical Mediterranean climate, characterized by hot days, cool nights and constant winds. The soils are varied – limestone, clay and stony terrains, which contribute to good drainage and concentration of aromas. Organic farming supports the natural balance of the vineyards and the authentic expression of the terroir.
Vinification:
The grapes are grown and vinified according to organic standards. After manual and machine selection, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in order to preserve the fruit freshness and varietal purity. The blend of Syrah and Grenache provides a balance between structure, undertones and juicy fruit character. Short aging in neutral vessels preserves the natural expression of the wine.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Fresh and fruity nose with notes of black cherry, raspberry and blackberry, complemented by black pepper, Mediterranean herbs and a slight spicy accent.
Taste: Medium-bodied, soft and harmonious, with juicy fruit nuances, fine tannins and good freshness. The finish is clean, balanced and pleasantly spicy.
