Saint Clair Family Estate is a leading New Zealand winery located in the Marlborough region, world renowned for its clean, aromatic and fresh wine style. The Lighter Marlborough range has been created with a focus on lower alcohol content and pronounced freshness, without compromising on quality and varietal character.
Terroir:
The vineyards are located in Marlborough, a region with a cool climate, strong sunshine and significant temperature amplitudes between day and night. These conditions help to preserve the bright acidity and intense aromatic profile of Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification:
Rosé is produced from Sauvignon Blanc, through short contact with the skins to achieve a delicate pink hue. Fermentation takes place at a low, controlled temperature in order to preserve the freshness, fruity and herbaceous notes characteristic of the variety. The style is light, refreshing and elegant.
