Produced by Joseph Castan Fine Wine – a winery located in the south of France, in the Languedoc region, with a strong Mediterranean character. The producer combines modern winemaking practices with respect for French tradition and terroir.
Varietal composition: Syrah and Grenache
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Pays d’Oc region, on limestone-clay soils. The climate is warm, with many sunny days and refreshing night winds from the Cévennes, which creates ideal conditions for fresh and aromatic rosé wines.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested at night to preserve freshness. This is followed by a short cold maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged briefly on the fine lees, in order to give softness and harmony.
