Produced by Katarzyna Estate – an established Bulgarian winery located in the Byalata Prast area, near Svilengrad. The winery combines French oenological practices with the potential of the southern Bulgarian terroir, creating wines with their own style and international recognition.
Varietal composition: 60% Malbec and 40% Carmenere
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Thracian Lowlands, on hilly terrain with southern exposure and limestone-clay soils. The region is distinguished by a warm, dry climate, favorable for the full ripening of red varieties and the development of a rich aromatic profile.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and undergo careful selection. After a short maceration and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vessels. The wine is briefly aged on the lees to give texture and complexity.
