Produced by: Vinprom Svishtov – an established Bulgarian winery, founded in 1948 and located in the northern wine-growing region, on the southern slopes of the Danube River. The varieties are grown in their own vineyards with a sustainable terroir character. The winery combines modern technologies with many years of experience and traditions.
Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Svishtov region – with a temperate continental climate, a large amplitude between day and night temperatures and sandy-clay soils. This ensures good sugar content, dense structure and fresh acidity of the grapes – especially suitable for the production of rosé in a modern style.
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested mechanically at optimal technological ripeness. This is followed by a short cold maceration, careful pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vessels (12°–14°C). The wine is stored briefly on the lees with periodic stirring (batonnage) to increase volume and texture.
