Bononia Estate is a modern winery located in the Danube Plain – the village of Koshava, Vidin region. The owners have revived the tradition of viticulture here with care for the terroir, purity of the variety and minimal technological intervention, striving to present the unique character of Bulgarian varieties in a modern, elegant form.
Variety
Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc – classic red varieties that give the wine structure, depth and character.
Terroir
The vineyards are located in the Danube Plain region, in the village of Koshava, Vidin region. The soils are sandy-limestone, and the climate is temperate, with the influence of the Danube River, which provides optimal conditions for the ripening of the grapes.
Vinification
The production follows the direct pressing method, with the grapes being carefully processed to extract the delicate aromas and color of the wine. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, which preserves the freshness and fruity character of the drink.

Color: Pale pink, with a slight salmon hue.
Aroma: Delicate notes of wild strawberries, white flowers and citrus fruits.
Taste: Fresh and elegant body, with balanced acidity and a light mineral finish.
