Produced by Katarzyna Estate – a prestigious Bulgarian winery located in the foothills of the Eastern Rhodopes, near the border with Greece. Founded in 2004, the winery combines French oenological practices with the potential of the southern Bulgarian terroir, creating wines with their own style and international recognition.
Varietal composition: Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Franc
Terroir: The vineyards are located on limestone-clay soils with good drainage. The area is distinguished by long, warm summers and a favorable microclimate, which helps to accumulate ripe aromas and balanced acids.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked in the early morning hours. After a short maceration and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is briefly aged on the lees to give texture and complexity.
