Terroir & Distillery
Foursquare is a family-owned distillery founded by Richard Seale, known for its transparency and classic Barbadian style. It is located in the heart of the sugar cane plantations of St. Philip, where the humid maritime climate and warm trade winds contribute to an intense but harmonious aging.
Distillation & Aging
Foursquare 2011 is a “Single Blended Rum” — a combination of distillates obtained from both column and copper pot stills, distilled at the distillery. The wine has been aged for a full 12 years in tropical conditions entirely in ex-Bourbon American Oak barrels. No added sugars, colors or flavors — 100% natural rum, bottled at “cask strength”.
Organoleptic Characteristics
