Origin and style
This rum is created in the Cuban style, which is characterized by softness, finesse and balance.
The main raw material is sugar cane molasses, fermented and distilled, after which the rum undergoes a special aging process.
Aging and production
Matusalem Insolito is created through a combination of the traditional Solera method and a Wine Cask Finish.
Part of the blend is aged in red wine barrels, which gives the rum a characteristic pink hue and additional fruity and floral nuances.
This technique creates a lighter, more aromatic and modern style of rum.
