This is an extremely limited edition from the Dos Maderas series, created through a precise double aging process (Double Crianza), which combines Caribbean distillation tradition and Andalusian sherry heritage.

Aging concept and process:

Dos Maderas Luxus follows the unique philosophy of double aging (Double Crianza), perfected by the brand.

First stage: The rum from Barbados and Guyana is aged for 10 years in a tropical climate in oak barrels that previously held bourbon.

Second stage: It is then transported to Spain, to the Williams & Humbert cellars, where it is aged for an additional 5 years in barrels of Pedro Ximénez (PX) – a sherry with a rich sweet and fruity character.

The total aging period reaches 15 years, which gives the rum an incomparable depth and nobility.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Color: Rich mahogany with ruby ​​highlights and a silky sheen.

Aroma: An exceptionally complex bouquet of dried figs, dates, raisins, vanilla, caramel and noble wood, enveloped by delicate PX nuances.

Taste: Full, elegant and soft, with a perfect balance between sweetness, spices and fine woodiness. Notes of cocoa, toffee, cinnamon, walnuts and sweet sherry can be felt.

Finish: Long, warm and velvety, with a long-lasting aftertaste of vanilla, dried fruits and a slightly smoky tone.

Pairings and serving:

Best consumed neat, in a snifter-type tasting glass, at a temperature of 18–20°C.
Ideal as a digestif, in the company of dark chocolate, fine cigars, nuts or dried fruits.
Not suitable for cocktails – this is a rum for contemplation and enjoyment.
