This is the classic blend of KAPATOVO and the first red wine introduced by the brand on the market.
Wine type: Red dry wine
Variet composition: Syrah, Petit Verdot, Primitivo
Origin: PGI Thracian Lowland. The winery's vineyards are located in the village of Kapatovo (Struma Valley, Southwestern Bulgaria).
Terroir: The vineyards benefit from the region's hot Mediterranean climate and cinnamon-woody, sandy soils with volcanic nuances. This terroir ensures perfect ripening of all three varieties, while concentrating the sugars and dyes.
Vinification and aging: Each variety is vinified separately in temperature-controlled vessels. The wine matures for 6 to 12 months in French oak barrels for a balance in which the wood does not dominate the explosive fruit.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: ruby color with purple highlights.
Aroma: ripe black fruits, blueberry jam, prunes and black cherry, complemented by black pepper, violets, dark chocolate, vanilla and fine cedar.
Taste: medium to full-bodied with an extremely smooth, velvety texture; juicy and soft, with smooth tannins.
Finish: long, ending with a pleasant hint of cocoa, spices and ripe berries.
Food pairing: barbecue, glazed pork ribs, roast duck, spicy sausages, pasta with rich meat sauces (Bolognese, ragout); semi-hard yellow cheeses (Cheddar, Gouda).
Serving temperature: 16°C – 18°C.
