The Jean-Claude Mas line presents carefully selected blends with a pronounced varietal character and a pleasant drinking experience.
Varietal composition:
Syrah and Viognier
Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Pays d’Oc IGP appellation, South of France, a region with a typical Mediterranean climate - hot days, cool nights and windy conditions. The soils are stony and calcareous, with good drainage, which helps to concentrate the aromas and structure of the wines.
Vinification:
The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with a small portion of Viognier used to enrich the aromas and softness of the blend. The wine is aged briefly in stainless steel or neutral oak barrels to preserve its freshness and fruity character.
