Terroir:
Via Vinera's vineyards are located at the foot of Sredna Gora, near the village of Karabunar, where the climate is warm and sunny, and the soils are clay-limestone with good drainage. These conditions contribute to optimal ripening of the grapes and the development of rich, concentrated aromas and a pronounced terroir character.
Vinification:
The grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness. After careful sorting, the varieties ferment separately at a controlled temperature with periodic racking for better extraction of color and tannins. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 6–9 months to achieve softness and complexity, before blending and bottling.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: Deep ruby red with purple hues.
Aroma: Complex and intense – dominated by ripe black fruits (blackberry, black cherry), violet and spices, with light nuances of smoke and vanilla from the oak.
Taste: Full and harmonious, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a long, warm finish. Balance between fruitiness and spiciness, typical of the combination of Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
Food pairings:
Suitable for grilled red meats, beef steak, game dishes, pasta with meat sauce or hard cheeses.
