Angel’s Estate – a modern Bulgarian winery located in Southern Bulgaria, which is distinguished by its innovative approach and focus on creating varietal wines with a pure expression and contemporary style.
Varietal composition: Syrah.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Thracian Lowlands – a region with a warm continental climate, long sunny summers and favorable soils that allow for full ripening of the variety and the development of an intense aromatic profile.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with prolonged maceration to extract color, aroma and structure. The wine is partially aged in oak barrels to soften the tannins and add spicy nuances.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Intense and characteristic – notes of dark berries, blackberry and blueberry, complemented by black pepper, spices and a light smoky nuance.
Taste: Medium to full-bodied with well-structured, soft tannins, balanced freshness and a long, spicy finish.
Food pairing: Suitable for red meats, barbecue, lamb, spicy dishes and mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16°–18 °C.
Aging potential: 4–6 years after harvest.
