Sister’s Run is a family-owned winery located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The winery strives to combine the traditions of Australian winemaking with sustainable practices, using careful grape selection and minimal intervention in the winemaking process to preserve the unique terroir of each vintage.

Terroir
The vineyards are located in the McLaren Vale region - known for its warm Mediterranean climate and soils combining red clay and stony areas. This provides a rich minerality and a balance between ripe fruit aromas and refreshing acidity in the wines.

Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked and selected before fermentation. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled conditions to preserve rich fruit aromas and balanced tannins. The wine is aged in new and used oak barrels, which gives it complexity and a velvety texture.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Intense nose with black cherries, blackberries, vanilla, spices and light nuances of black pepper and chocolate.
Taste: Full-bodied with velvety texture, balanced acidity and complex taste of ripe black fruits, sweet spices and dark chocolate. Long and pleasant aftertaste with spicy notes.

Food pairings
Suitable for barbecue with spices, lamb, roasted vegetables and strong cheeses.
