Nero Marone – an Italian wine brand from the Puglia region, specializing in traditional southern Italian varieties and wines with a rich fruity character, softness and accessibility. The Edizione Privata series presents a selection with greater concentration and expressiveness.
Varietal composition:
100% Primitivo.
Terroir:
The grape originates from the Salento region, Puglia – a region with a hot Mediterranean climate, calcareous and red soils that allow the full ripening of Primitivo and the accumulation of sugars, aromatic intensity and density.
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested at high technological maturity. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with extended maceration for better extraction of color and soft tannins. Partial aging gives additional roundness and complexity, without dominating the fruit.
