Produced by Zelanos Winery, located in the village of Slavyantsi, Sungurlare Municipality, in the eastern part of the Valley of Roses. The winery has over 700 acres of its own vineyards and a production capacity of between 150,000 and 300,000 bottles per year. It focuses on varietal wines with a pronounced elegance and terroir character.
Varietal composition: 100% Pinot Noir
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Slavyantsi region, where the terroir is extremely suitable for light red varieties such as Pinot Noir. The soils are sandy-clayey, and the climate is moderately continental with a maritime influence, which favors slow ripening and the accumulation of aromatic compounds.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels, after which the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels. Before being released on the market, the wine matures for another 9 months in bottle at a controlled temperature.
