Description

Medi Veli is a contemporary winery with a vision to create modern yet authentic Bulgarian wines. It combines traditional practices with an innovative approach to highlight the terroir character of each variety.

Variety: Mavrud

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Struma River Valley, on sandy-clay soils with mineral elements. The climate is warm and sunny, with a Mediterranean influence, which helps the grapes ripen and develop deep fruity aromas.

Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked, fermented at a controlled temperature and partially aged in oak barrels. This gives the wine softness, structure and a slightly spicy character typical of the variety.

Organoleptic characteristics
Color: Deep ruby with violet nuances.
Aroma: Rich notes of black cherry, blackberry, spices and a subtle hint of vanilla.
Taste: Medium to full-bodied, well-formed tannins, fruity depth and a long, warming finish.

Food pairings: Excellent with roast meats, duck, lamb chops or hard cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16°–18°C
Aging potential: 4–6 years

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.

Saturday and Sunday: closed.

Monday to Friday: same-day delivery orders will be accepted until 10:00 AM.
For customer convenience, orders placed by 3:30 PM can be picked up on the same business day by 4:30 PM from the warehouse of “Meik-98” Ltd. (Sofia, 13 Filip Kutev Street).
