Vinification and aging:
The grapes are hand-picked from carefully selected vineyards. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with prolonged maceration for optimal extract and aromatic concentration.
Aged for a minimum of 24 months in large oak barrels, followed by a rest period in the bottle for additional smoothing and harmony.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: Deep garnet red with ruby highlights.
Aroma: Complex and deep nose with notes of black cherry, plum, dried herbs, leather, tobacco and delicate accents of spices and oak.
Taste: Structured and refined, with fine, ripe tannins, excellent balance and a long, warm finish with nuances of cocoa and sweet spices.
Food pairings:
A perfect partnership for veal, lamb, game, pasta with truffles and mature hard cheeses such as Pecorino Toscano and Parmigiano Reggiano. Also ideal as a collector's gift in its wooden box.
