Vrachanska Temenuga Winery – a boutique family winery near Vratsa, in the Deri Vol area, created with the aim of reviving a local variety – Vrachanski Misket (pansy). The winery relies on traditional expression of terroir through manual care and attention to the vineyards.
Varietal composition
100% Vrachanski Misket, also known as Vrachanska Temenuga – a traditional Bulgarian white variety with distinct aromaticity and freshness.

Terroir
The vineyards are located in the PGI “Danube Plain” – Vratsa, with gray forest and calcareous soils, at an altitude of about 340m. The climate is temperate-continental, with the influence of western and northwestern winds, which helps to develop minerality and a delicate musket aroma.

Vinification
Hand harvest and strict selection of grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve the varietal aromas and freshness of the wine.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Rich floral bouquet with notes of violets, wildflowers, petunias and pansies.
Taste: Elegant, light and airy body with a memorable floral finish and fine minerality. Balanced and fine tonal finish. .
Food pairings
Suitable for consumption with salads, seafood, fish, white meat, light appetizers and soft cheeses. Can also be served as an aperitif.
Serving temperature
Optimal between 8–10°C to highlight the freshness and aromatic potential.
