Sauvignon Blanc Kera Tamara Single Vineyard 2023 is an elegant white wine produced by Izba Maryan – a small family winery located at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountains. The wine expresses the typical character of Sauvignon Blanc combined with the unique terroir of northeastern Bulgaria, distinguished by a clearly expressed freshness and a delicate aromatic profile.

Varietal composition: Sauvignon Blanc

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the land of the village of Maryan, in the Elena region. The soils are mainly clay-limestone, with a good water balance. The climate is temperate continental with clearly expressed temperature amplitudes between day and night, which contributes to the accumulation of aromatic components and the preservation of the natural acidity in the grapes.

Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and undergo precise selection. After delicate pressing and a short cold maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at low temperatures, preserving the typical varietal character. The wine is aged briefly on fine lees, which adds additional softness and volume.
