Chilensis Wines – part of Viña San Pedro Tarapacá, one of the most renowned and traditional producers in Chile. The Selección Especial series is dedicated to wines with a pronounced varietal character and a fresh South American style, produced from selected plots in the central wine-growing valleys of the country.

Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Central Valley – an area with a warm climate and cool nights, close to the influence of the Pacific Ocean and the cold Humboldt Current, which maintains the freshness of the grapes. The soils are sandy-clay with mineral inclusions, which provides a balance between aromatic intensity and lively acidity.

Vinification:
The grapes are picked in the early hours of the day and undergo a gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruity and herbaceous aromas. The wine does not go through oak, maintaining a clean, fresh and mineral character.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma:
Intense and fresh nose with notes of passion fruit, lime, green apple and freshly cut grass, complemented by mineral nuances.
Taste:
Lively and tight, with pronounced citrus acidity, a pure fruit profile and a fresh, long finish, bringing a feeling of coolness and lightness.
Food pairings:
Ideal for seafood, salads, sushi, goat cheese and light appetizers.
