Katarzyna Estate – a modern high-end Bulgarian winery located in Southern Bulgaria, at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains, known for its meticulous approach, sustainable viticulture and wines with an elegant, international style.
Varietal composition: Chardonnay.
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Thracian Lowlands, a region with a warm climate, cool nights and well-drained soils, which help preserve freshness and develop a fine aromatic profile.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. Part of the wine is aged on the fine lees, and a small portion goes through contact with oak, which gives additional complexity and a silky texture, without dominating the fruity character.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Fine and elegant – notes of white flowers, ripe apple, pear and citrus fruits, complemented by light buttery and vanilla nuances.
Taste: Medium to full-bodied with balanced freshness, creamy texture and a long, harmonious finish.
Food pairing: Suitable for fish, seafood, poultry, pasta with cream sauces and soft cheeses.
Serving temperature: 8°–10 °C.
