Chardonnay 2024 is a fresh and harmonious white wine produced by Domaine Menada – one of the oldest and most established wineries in Southern Bulgaria. The wine expresses the typical characteristics of the variety in combination with the warm climate and fertile soils of the Thracian Lowland.
Varietal composition: Chardonnay

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Stara Zagora region. The soils are mainly alluvial-clay with good water permeability. The climate is temperate continental with many sunny days, which ensures full ripening of the grapes and the formation of rich flavors.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours. After pressing and a short maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature. The wine is stored on the fine lees for a short period to acquire additional softness and balance.

Organoleptic characteristics

Aroma: Fresh and fruity aroma with notes of green apple, tropical fruit, citrus and white peach

Taste: Light and refreshing taste with a juicy texture, well-balanced acidity and a clean finish

Food pairing: With light salads, fish, seafood, chicken or soft cheeses

Serving temperature: 8°–10°C

Aging potential: Consume within 1–2 years of harvest for optimal freshness
