Produced by the Villa Justina Winery, located in the village of Ustina, Plovdiv region. The winery focuses on creating high-quality wines using modern technologies and hand-picking grapes.
Varietal composition: 100% Gewürztraminer
Terroir: The vineyards are located on a southern slope at an altitude of 300 m, on carbonate soils. The climate is moderately continental, which favors slow ripening and the accumulation of aromatic compounds.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo careful selection. After crushing and a short maceration with the solid parts, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at temperatures of 15–17°C for about 10–15 days.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Exotic aromas of lychee and pineapple, with light nuances of rose and indriche, complemented by the sweetness of honey and Turkish delight
Taste: Gentle and balanced body with a pleasant citrus aftertaste
Food pairing: Suitable for spicy Indian cuisine, sushi, spicy tuna, trout, smoked salmon, roast chicken, turkey, smoked sausages and duck breast, as well as cheeses such as Brie, Gouda, Idiazabal, Castelmagno and strong cheddar
