The Fantinel winery was founded in 1969 by Mario Fantinel and is located in the heart of Friuli, Northeastern Italy. Today, it follows the principles of sustainable winemaking and emphasizing the terroir through modern and precise practices.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Grigio
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Friuli Grave appellation on alluvial soils, rich in minerals, with good drainage. The climate is temperate with influence from the Adriatic Sea and the Alps, ensuring balanced ripening and preserving the natural freshness of the grapes.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked in the early hours of the day, then cooled and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged briefly on the fine lees, without contact with oak, to preserve the pure aromatic profile and freshness.
