Dragoshinov Winery is a Bulgarian producer that focuses on expressive wines from local and traditional varieties. Red Misket 2024 presents the characteristic aromatic profile of the variety – fine, fresh and elegant, with a pronounced florality and a pleasant balanced acidity.
Terroir
The vineyards are located in areas with a temperate continental climate, warm summers and cool nights. The soils are diverse – clay-sandy and limestone, which contributes to good drainage and the development of a delicate aromatic profile. The climatic conditions allow for the preservation of the freshness and natural acidity of the variety.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours in order to preserve the aromas. This is followed by gentle pressing and short contact with the skins to extract the characteristic light pinkish hue. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled low temperature to preserve the freshness and fruity character. The wine is not aged in oak.
