La Bargemont's organic Rosé Cote d'Aix en Provence is a vibrant and refreshing Provençal rosé.
Variety: 40% Syrah + 30% Grenache + 20% Cabernet Sauvignon + 10% Caladoc
Soil: clay-limestone and stony soils
Climate: The Mediterranean climate, very sunny and dry, characterized by the Mistral wind, helps to cool the vines while protecting them from disease. Thanks to its altitude, the Bargemont vineyard benefits from a cooler climate, with the grapes ripening on average 15 days later than other vineyards. This Provençal terroir gives the grapes a wonderful color and a beautiful aromatic concentration.
Vinification: The organic vineyard must demonstrate precision and consistency. At La Bargemont, monitoring throughout the year is particularly strict both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Harvesting is carried out at night to preserve all the freshness of the fruit. The grapes are then cooled again before being placed in the presses. After pressing, the must is drained and left to settle for 5 days at 2˚C before being prepared for fermentation at 16˚C. Vinified separately, the grape varieties are blended in December and then bottled from the beginning of the year.
