Ardnamurchan Distillery – located on the remote and rugged Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the Western Highlands. It is renowned for its sustainable production, use of renewable energy and strong regional character in its malts.
Raw material:
100% malted Scottish barley
Terroir / Regional profile:
The coastal and mountain climate combines cold Atlantic air, maritime influences and humid, rich forests. This gives it characteristic notes of sea salt, light peat smoke and natural fruitiness in the Western Highlands style.
Production and aging:
Distilled in April 2018
Aged in a single cask No. 401 from the PMM 155.1 series, selected especially for Balgaria Exclusive.
Bottled in 2022 in limited quantities, cask strength – 58%, without cold filtration and without added color. This guarantees maximum preservation of the natural character of the cask and distillate.

Suitable for consumption neat or with a drop of water. Excellent with dark chocolate 70%+, dried fruits, caramelized nuts and quality cigars.
Serving temperature:
18°–22°C
Aging potential:
10+ years with proper storage; potential is high due to the strength of the alcohol and the quality of the barrel.
