Produced by Villa Yambol – one of the oldest and most established wineries in Bulgaria, founded in 1924, with many years of experience in the production of high-quality wines. The Vineyard Selection series presents selected batches from its own vineyards, with a focus on terroir character and modern style. The wine is created from vineyards near the village of Tenevo, at the foot of Strandzha Mountain and in the heart of the Thracian Lowland.
Varietal composition: Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Terroir: The vineyards near Tenevo are located on well-drained, sandy-clay soils, with southern exposure. The climate is warm and moderately continental with long summers and cool nights, which help preserve the freshness and aromatic potential of the grapes.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked in the early morning hours. After a short maceration and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at low temperature in stainless steel vessels. The blend is created after fermentation to achieve a balance between aroma, freshness and elegance.
