Le Masoulier – a producer from the South of France, located in the Pays d'Hérault region, in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon. The region is known for its sunny Mediterranean climate and centuries-old traditions in the production of fresh, aromatic and fruity rosés.
Varietal composition: Traditional blend for the region – Grenache, Cinzo and Syrah (typical varieties for rosé from Pays d'Hérault).
Terroir: The vineyards are located on calcareous-clay and sandy soils, with excellent sunshine and constant breezes from the Mediterranean Sea. This ensures a good concentration of fruit aromas and freshness in the finished wine.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested early in the morning to maximize freshness. This is followed by gentle pressing and fermentation at a low, controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The short contact with the skins gives a delicate pink color and a fine aromatic profile.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Fresh, fruity and delicate nose with nuances of strawberry, white peach, raspberry, citrus and light florality.
Taste: Light, elegant and pleasantly refreshing wine with well-balanced acidity. The finish is clean, fruity-mineral and juicy.
