Carte Noir Heritage Rosé 2024 is a refined and balanced wine from the heart of Provence, produced by the cooperative Maitre Vinéron de la Presqu’ile de Saint-Tropez – one of the leading producers in the region, known for its focus on terroir and sustainable practices. This rosé is an elegant reflection of the style of the Côte de Provence – with mineral character, finesse and freshness.
Varietal composition: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah
Terroir: The vineyards are located near the Mediterranean coast, on calcareous-clay and schist soils. The microclimate in the Saint-Tropez region is influenced by the sea breeze and strong sunshine, which helps the grapes to fully ripen, while preserving their freshness.
Vinification: After manual harvesting and selection, the grapes are pressed directly and undergo slow fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Delicate nose with notes of strawberry, cherry, citrus and a light floral touch of jasmine and orange blossom
Taste: Fresh and energetic, with medium body, pronounced minerality, fine acidity and a clean, dry finish with a light hint of pink grapefruit
