Clase Azul Gold is an ultra-premium Mexican joven tequila made from 100% Tequilana Weber blue agave grown in the mineral-rich soils of the Los Altos region of Jalisco. The drink is created through a skillful blend of three styles – unaged Plata, Reposado, aged in French oak barrels, and Extra Añejo, which is matured first in American whiskey barrels and then in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels. This combination gives it exceptional depth, balance and richness of flavor.
The agave is hand-picked at full maturity and slowly roasted in traditional brick ovens, which caramelizes the natural sugars and develops a density of aromas. It is then ground, fermented and double distilled in copper stills to preserve the purity and character of the agave.
