Tequila Comos represents the fusion of Mexican tradition and the Mediterranean lifestyle in a uniquely packaged line of tequilas. Created by industry veteran and master sommelier Richard Betts, Tequila Comos offers a personal vision of tequila that expands the premium tequila category through its unique expressions.
Tequila Comos Aniejo Cristalino is aged for a minimum of 1 year in French oak white wine barrels, then charcoal filtered to achieve its stunning crystalline expression.
Variety: 100% Blue Weber agave/ Agave tequilana
Production: Hand-harvested agave from the various terroirs (both highlands and lowlands) of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. The piñata (the plant's bulbs) are roasted in traditional volcanic stone ovens, and the aguamiel (the freshly extracted juice, also called "magey") is fermented naturally and distilled twice in copper stills. After aging in the finest barrels, the final touch is gentle aeration: a winemaking technique in which the liquid is swirled in a drum to enrich it with oxygen and make the taste softer and smoother, while adding richness and roundness.

The ceramic bottle is handmade by artisans and is designed to protect the liquid inside from sunlight, as well as to be appreciated and recycled. The Komos bottle is hand-dipped in a reactive glaze that changes when fired in an oven, meaning that each bottle is a unique creation.
