Kavalan is a Taiwanese single malt whisky, named by Scottish experts “The Alien from the Far East". It is produced at the King Car distillery located in Taiwan, and the first bottle is sold in 2008. The distillery was founded in 2005 after the production monopoly was abolished of alcohol in Taiwan and King Car became the first distillery to start producing elite single malt whisky. Kavalan is made using Scottish technology, but the secret of its success lies in the distillation and in the tropical Taiwanese climate, which allows the drink to reach incredible heights after aging. The result is an amazingly smooth whiskey with an ethereal light and fruity taste, with exotic notes of coconut and marzipan.

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge. * Free delivery excludes all products from categories: Water, Beer, Bag-in-Box, Soft Drinks.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.

We would like to inform you that, as of 01.10.2025, the working hours of Meik-98 Ltd. will be changed as follows:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 16:30 PM (delivery to address or on-site service).
Saturday and Sunday: closed.

There will also be changes in how we receive your orders and carry out deliveries:

Monday to Friday: same-day delivery orders will be accepted until 10:00 AM.
For customer convenience, orders placed by 3:30 PM can be picked up on the same business day by 4:30 PM from the warehouse of “Meik-98” Ltd. (Sofia, 13 Filip Kutev Street).
