The Tamnavulin distillery was founded in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin in Scotland. In 1995, the doors of the distillery were closed, which were reopened after extensive renovation in 2007. Since then, exceptional single malt whisky with true Speyside character has been produced. The name Tamnavulin is Gaelic and translated means "mill on the hill". This is named after the historic former mill on the site of the distillery. The Tamnavulin White Wine Cask Whisky matures in American white oak casks and then receives its finish in Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks.
Tasting notes:
Color: amber.
Nose: Green juicy apples, bananas, ripe honeydew melon, peach, lemon, jasmine, vanilla, coconut cream.
Taste: Fruity, lime, grapefruit, apple pie, notes of cinnamon, lemon sponge cake.
