Description

The Tamdhu distillery was built in 1897 in the northern reaches of the Spey River, which also gives its name to the specific Scottish whisky region. With a long and varied history until the 21st century, when it was revived and subsequently bought by the independent company Ian MacLeod, which began a return to the original values of the distillery's single malts - aging in first-class ex-Oloroso sherry casks made of Spanish and American oak. Every drop of Tamdhu whisky is matured in such rare and valuable casks, without detours and compromises, because according to the distillery's philosophy, only these exceptional casks can fully develop and reveal the character of the classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Tamdhu 18 YO is a limited batch aged in premium and selected European and American Oloroso Sherry casks creating this exceptionally fruity single malt, bottled without added coloring, without chill filtration and at 46.8%.
Color: Dark amber.
Aroma: Cherries, milk chocolate, raisins in rum, plums
Taste: Balanced and complex taste with strong sherry notes, dominant taste of vanilla, brown sugar, red apples, and dried fruits.
Finish: Long and warming, dried apricots and dates, candied apple, light spiciness.

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.
